Charles Louis Jurjevich, age 76, born in Mobile, Alabama and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center. Louis was thoughtful, loving and kind, devoted to his family and friends. He served his country when called, serving in the Vietnam War. He was graduate of Auburn University and Atlanta Law School. He practiced law in Georgia and retired back to his home town of Bay Minette.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda S. Jurjevich, his daughter Stephanie Baswell. Four brothers, Franklin I. Jurjevich of Evergreen, Alabama, Leonce L. Jurjevich (Connie), Atmore, Alabama, Joseph H. Jurjevich, Bay Minette, Alabama, Robert H. Jurjevich (Sandrina) of Sarajevo, Bosnia. Two sisters, Susan I. Kaul (Bill) of Waterflow, New Mexico and Maria A. Sikic (Ranko) of Zagreb, Croatia; granddaughter Brianna Baswell and great grandson, Jax Banner and sister-in-law, Beth Jurjevich.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John G. Jurjevich, Sr. and Irene Hamilton Jurjevich, and a brother, John G. Jurjevich, Jr.
A committal service will be held at the Alabama State Veteran’s Cemetery, Friday, September 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The William F. Green Veteran’s home in Bay Minette, Alabama.
