Charebi (Baker) Jones

My beautiful wife, Charebi Alexandra Baker Jones, of Bay Minette, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at the age of 50.

She was born on October 21, 1974, in Fairhope, Alabama, to Charlie and Debra Baker. Charebi graduated from Auburn University in 2001 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. During her time at Auburn, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by studying abroad in Italy, where she developed an even deeper love for art, architecture, and culture.

Charebi had a passion for life and a gift for finding beauty in the everyday. She loved to shop—what she fondly called “thrifting”—as well as travel, camping with friends, and spending time on the water. Lake Martin held a special place in her heart.

To know Charebi was to love her. She had a rare ability to make everyone she met feel valued and loved, and her friends were truly family to her.

Above all, Charebi’s greatest joys in life were her husband, Ronnie, and her beloved son, Lofton—her “favorite baseball player.” She loved and cared for him more than anything in this world and always wanted the very best for him.

Charebi is survived by her husband, Ronnie Jones; her son, Lofton Jones; her parents, Charlie and Debra Baker; her brother, Yancey Baker, and his wife, Kim; mother-in-law Luvern Jones; along with many nieces and nephews who adored her.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Catholic Church, 31122 US-31, Spanish Fort, AL 36527. Graveside services will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Shiver, Robin Fuller, Lauren Bounds, Jr., Jason Miller, Shane Parker and Thomas Brown
