Carolyn Howard (Wilson) Brown

Carolyn Howard Brown, age 73, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at her residence. She retired from Thomas Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Lester L. Brown of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Michael Worley of Bay Minette, AL; one daughter, Joanne (Jerry Lee) Goff of Hurley, MS; one sister, Renee (Bubba) Plato of Pine Grove; two grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Pfeiffer and Jerry (Ashleigh) Goff; ten great grandchildren, Jerron, Jaxon, Isla, Carson, Gabe, Liam, Carter, Delaney, Graham and Ella-Kate and extended family T.J. (Tammy) Thompson of Phillipsville.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Pettis officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery in Spanish Fort at 11:00 a.m.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 15, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Lee Goff, Jerry Lee Goff, II, T.J. Thompson, Colton Thompson, Bubba Plato and Levi Plato. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerron Goff, Jaxon Goff, Brian Pfeiffer, Carson Barton, Carter Barton, Gabe Pfeiffer, Liam Pfeiffer, Graham Pfeiffer.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Disabled American Veterans.
