Carol Jeanette (Perkins) Cooley

Carol Jeanette Perkins Cooley, age 83, born in the Pine Grove Community and a resident of Magnolia Springs, AL died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Diversicare Nursing Home. She was a retired machine operator at Mannor Slacks.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest R. Cooley of Magnolia Springs, AL; her children, Chris Yarbrough of Bay Minette, AL, Royce McGhee of Fairhope, AL, Tommy (Chantell) Cooley of Elberta, AL and Brenda (Lane) Vick of Magnolia Springs, AL; two brothers, Jerry Perkins of Bay Minette, AL and Charles (Helen) Perkins of Pine Grove; one sister, Deborah (Larry) Wise of White House Fork; grandchildren, Jared McGhee, Jessica Kristie, Heather Quinn, Brooke Noles, Dylan Cooley and Hayden McGhee and great grandchildren, Lacie Cooley, Riley McGhee, Lily McGhee, Jaxon Quinn, Emerson Kristie, Everlee Kristie, Kylen McGhee, Blayne McGhee, Layten McGhee and Remy-Claire McGhee.

She was preceded in death by a son, David McGhee; a brother, Mitchell Perkins and her parents, Joseph Madison and Ester R. Della Blackmon Perkins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Chester Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
