Carlton Davis Obituary

Carlton Elijah Davis, age 90, a resident of White House Fork Community passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at South Baldwin Hospital in Foley. He was a retired Master Cabinet Builder for over 50 years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, bee keeping and telling tail tales.

He is survived by one sister, Patricia Howard; two sons, Carlton Mitchell “Mickey” (Lynne) Davis and Grady Edison (Margaret) Davis; four grandsons, Tim (Krystal) Davis, Jason Davis, Brandon Powe and Marcus Powe; one granddaughter Tammy (Randy) Chance; two step-grandchildren, Angie Stroups and D.J. Johnson; three great grandchildren, Scott (Tara) Davis, Eli Hall and Mackenzie Davis and one great great granddaughter, Morgan Davis.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Edna K. Davis; his daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Powe; his parents, Alfred O. and Mary V. Davis; his siblings, Alford O. Davis, Emily Ann Goram, Marvin “Buster” Davis, Jerry Davis, John Davis, Mary Williams Roberts, Margaret Cox and Joseph “Joe” Davis and on step-granddaughter, Laura Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Clark Beiler officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 21, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service at the White House Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Pallbearers will be Jason Davis, Marcus Powe, Eli Hall, Alfred Wallace, Rusty Williams and Deloit Davis. Honorary pallbearer will be Brandon Powe.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to White House Fork Ministries at 11513 White House Fork Road Ext., Bay Minette, AL 36507
