Byron Harbison, age 73, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at his residence. He retired from Center Point Terminal Chickasaw, LLC. He was a veteran of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Gayle Donald Harbison of Bay Minette, AL; his children, Amanda “Mandy” Harbison (Clint) Rountree of Bay Minette, AL and Kari L. Harbison of Bay Minette, AL; stepchildren, Devin WaLynn (Chase) Stewart of Phillipsville, James Jeremy (Diedra) Hayles of Bay Minette, AL and Ravin Michelle Chestang of Bay Minette, AL; his mother, Margaret Drinkard Harbison of Bay Minette, AL; two brothers, Kenneth Gary (Melinda) Harbison of Bay Minette, AL and Evan (Gina) Harbison of Bay Minette, AL; two sisters, Clarice Glasgow of Bay Minette, AL and Donna (Arthur) Goins of Bay Minette, AL; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Donald of White House Fork; two grandchildren, Logan Rountree and Cole Rountree; eight step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hurshel Harbison and his father-in-law, James Edward Donald.
A gathering for friends and family to celebrate Byron’s life will be held Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Montgomery Hill Baptist Church.
