To know him was to love him. Brett Anthony Davis Sr. born April 30th 1966 gained his angel wings at the age of 54 beside his loving family on September 12th 2020 at his residence in Pine Grove, Alabama. Until his last breath he fulfilled his purpose in life by displaying the unconditional love of Jesus. From endless hunting and fishing stories, to corny dad jokes, to holding one accountable with his gentle advise and direction he was pure and genuine with every action. His fierce, selfless love was shared not only with his family and friends, but with all who were privileged to meet him. For over the last twenty years he was known for servant's heart at City Hope Church. His passion for constructing a commercial property or residential home throughout the Fairhope, Alabama community with B. A. Davis Enterprises, LLC (previously known as B. J. Davis Contracting) was strong. However, his enthusiasm and eagerness to share his bragging rights of trophy fish and deer is his lasting legacy.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly M. “Kim” Hinote Davis of Pine Grove; his children, Brittany Davis (Joshua) Denton of Bay Minette, AL, Brooke A. Davis of Daphne, AL, Brett Anthony “BJ” Davis, Jr. of Pine Grove and Madison Alanna Davis of Pine Grove; stepdaughter, Taylor Cheyenne Williams of Pine Grove; his parents, Tony and Sue Davis of Pine Grove; sister, Donyale Davis (Jeff) Rawson of Silverhill; grandchildren, Kristopher Eyrk Denton, Malaya Ray Denton and Mia Rayne “Rainy Bug” Denton; mother-in-law, Estelle Hinote of Pine Grove; sister-in-law, Rebecca Hinote; brother-in-law, Shawn Hinote; one niece and two nephews.
