Brenda White Sexton, age 64, born in Bay Minette, AL and raised in Brewton, AL died Monday, November 6, 2023 at her residence in Bay Minette. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mother of two wonderful children, whom she adored with all her heart. Always happy to hear their voice through a phone call or visits at home. Always concerned of their well-being. She always wanted to know what her grands were doing in school and sports.
Even in pain, caused by her battle with cancer, she prayed for her family and friends. She asked God to keep her family safe and secure in His love. She prayed for other folk’s families as well.
She loved her flower garden, always pulled the weeds to keep her garden beautiful. Always willing to give to another flower person a bloom, plant or cutting to make the world a more beautiful place. Brenda loved doing crafts, sewing and quilting for her family and friends to enjoy her handiwork.
She loved to travel to many countries and cities. Rome, Germany, Poland, Ireland just to name a few during the time she and Stephen were stationed around the world in the Army.
A graduate of T.R. Miller, class of 1978, she enjoyed returning to Miller homecoming events to meet friends and relatives.
There was never a dull moment with Brenda, she loved to laugh and smile while reminiscing of past stories about her father and grandparents. Retelling stories of her children who she loved so much.
She didn’t mind sharing her thoughts, but that was Brenda making sure she got the last word.
She is with Jesus now, looking at how beautiful Heaven must be.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen Sexton of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Johnathan (Jamie) Sexton of Rogers, AR; one daughter, Crystal Sexton (Robert) Barnes of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Sexton and Addison Sexton both of Rogers, AR; her mother, Rochelle Stewart White of Bay Minette, AL; a brother, Ronald (Cheryl) White of Satsuma, AL; nephews, Zack White and Seth White and a niece, Avery Hurst.
