Brandon Blaine Long was born in Fairhope Alabama on April 28th 1982. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and grandson. Brandon brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was very caring and tender-hearted. He coached little league baseball for many years and loved watching all of the kids in the family play sports. He loved the outdoors: hunting, sports, cornhole, disc golf, and family events like fireworks and egg hunts. He especially enjoyed family game nights and watching Alabama football with family. He was a master electrician for CSX railroad.
Brandon is survived by his wife, Debbie Kay Long, his children: Kylie and Kaegan, his parents: Daryl and Paula Long, his brother, Donovan Long (Tiffani), his grandmothers: Alice Long and Shelby Kelly Peak, his great-grandmother: Nettye Chastang, his granddaughter, Kaspyn Shiver, his best friend, Gabby Davis, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Brandon is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Olsen Long and Arthur Kelly.
Pallbearers will be Lauren Bounds, Dustin Branum, Brian Dees, Chris Geck, Blake Hall, Billy Long, Brett Long, and Phillip Palmer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Todd Lyles and Stanford Powell.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the White House Fork Baptist Church with Reverend J.P. Lambert and Reverend Tony Banning officiating. Burial will follow at White House Fork Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at White House Fork Baptist Church at 38713 County Road 39.
