Bonnie Mae Andrews Whatley, age 76, a native and resident of the Dyas Community of Perdido, AL died Monday, January 15, 2024 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Whatley (Bruce) Ferrell of Perdido, AL and Jeffrey Lee Whatley of Bay Minette, AL; siblings, Susan Mixon of Bay Minette, AL, Billy Andrews, Benjamin Andrews and Brenda Cox and two grandchildren, Tiffani Ferrell (William) Long of White House Fork and Dustin Lee (Meranda) Ferrell of Rabun and four great granddaughters, Cadence Long, Emerson Long, Tynlee Ferrell and Maeve Ferrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lee Whatley; a daughter, Sherry Denise Whatley; two grandchildren, Danielle Denise Whatley and Bruce Ernest Ferrell; her parents, Henry and Dorothy Lillian Weekley Andrews and siblings, Carolyn Martin, Johnny Andrews and Robert Andrews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Dyas.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Steveie Whatley, Dustin Lee Ferrell, Virgil Hadley, William Long, Kent Johnson and Allen Creppel. Honorary pallbearer will be William Harrelson.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
