Bobby Wayne Turner

Bobby Wayne Turner, age 88, born in Dadeville, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at University Hospital. He was a retired millwright at the Alabama State Docks Coal Terminal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Nell Tapley Turner of Bay Minette, AL; two sons, Ronald Craig Turner and Michael Glenn Turner both of Mobile, AL; two daughters, Cynthia Marie Tuminello of Long Beach, MS and Debra Lanell (Tom) Shiver-Lang of Foley, AL; two brothers, Billy Young Turner of Dadeville, AL and Michael Vance Turner of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Rachael Joyce Tuminello, Leah Marie Tuminello, Amanda Lanette Wade, Amber Rose Waters, Daniel Wayne Shiver, Laura Brooks Turner, Michael Kyle Turner and John Michael Turner and great grandchildren, Avagrace Lynae Bagwell, Aubrey Kate Waters, Jason Alton Waters, Sadie Lee Turer, Michael Isaac Turner and Owen Wesley Turner.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Janea Turner and a brother, Earl Dean Turner.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Bryars and Reverend Dan Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 4, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
