Betty LaVonna (Smith) Roberson

Betty LaVonna Smith Roberson of Deer Park, TX, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away December 24, 2021. Betty was born December 3,1939 in Bay Minette, Alabama to Joel and Gladys Smith. 

Preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Jack Smith and Otis Smith and her sister Nellree Phillips 

Survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Rabon Roberson; her children Lisa Slaton, Dale Roberson and his wife Sabrena; her grandchildren, Taylor, Tamara and Ron; three great grandchildren, two sisters, Shelba Lauritzen and Patsy Robertson and her brother Larry Smith. 

Betty loved taking care of her roses and working in the yard, walking, baking and spending time with family and friends. 

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Perdido Baptist Cemetery.

Gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday January 5, 2022 from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
