Betty Jean (Hinote) Burt

Betty Hinote Burt, age 87, a resident of Bay Minette, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was a retired administrative assistant for Dr. Halliday, Mattie Rhodes Hospital and North Baldwin Infirmary.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clinton Burt; her son, Bobby Burt (Lisa); her daughter, Kellie Bryant (Jim Martin); two grandsons, Blane Burt (Ashley) and Trent Bryant (Jennifer); four great grandchildren, Darcy and Kipp Burt, and Murray and Charley Bryant; one sister, Bonnie Langham, including bonus children Martin "Peanut” and Lori Gibson, as well as many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Pete and Vilata Hinote; daughter-in-law, Kathy Burt; sisters, Lois Coleman (John), Virgie Stewart (Russell), one brother, Preston Hinote and a brother-in-law, Donald Langham.

Funeral services will.be held Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until he 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blane Burt, Trent Bryant, Buddy Burt, Peanut Gibson, Pete Coleman, Mike Taylor and James Pimperl.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Betty to Eastwood Baptist Church, Post Office Box 535, Bay Minette, Alabama 36507.
