Betty Elaine (Stewart) Bray

Betty Elaine Stewart Bray, age 72, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of Rabun died Sunday, December 29, 2019 at North Baldwin Infirmary. She was a retired secretary at Baldwin County Middle School.

She is survived by two daughters, Tyra Bray (Sean) Lacy of Bay Minette, AL and Karen Bray (Ryan) Russell of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, James Jerry (Carol) Stewart of Bay Minette, AL; sister-in-law, Kathryn “Kay” Stewart of Bay Minette, AL and one grandson, Colin Lacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael T. Bray; brother, Arthur Eugene Stewart; sister, Shirley Stewart Quinley; nephew, Timothy Quinley and great nephew, Bradley Gray.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church with Reverend Otis Thames, Reverend Richard Paul And Reverend John Montalvo officiating. Burial will follow at New Life Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at New Life Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Todd Stewart, Michael Stewart, Nicholas Gray, Michael Gray, Randy Ganey, Lance Ganey, Logan Ganey and Kevin Johnson.

Although the family will accept flowers they suggest memorial contributions be made to New Life Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Wilson Palmer, 49535 Rabun Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
