Benjamin Franklin Dykes

Benjamin Franklin Dykes, age 86, born in Robertsdale, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, June 28, 2019 at Atmore Nursing Center.

He is survived by three nieces, Agnes Easely, Kay Franco and Wanda Hand and several other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dennie Merle Dykes; brothers, Alfred Dykes, Ural Dykes and Burford Dykes; sisters, Sidney Evans, Inez Weekley, Velmae Kirchharr and Mary Eunice Hardy and a special cousin, Frances Burk Smith.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Tedder officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Atmore Nursing Center and Southern Care Hospice for the loving care of Mr. Dykes.
