Beaulah (Collins) Short

Beaulah Collins Short, age 85, born in the White House Fork Community and a resident of Mobile, AL died Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her daughter’s residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, John (Patricia) Short, Joe (Melanie) Short and Jennifer (Ronald) Price; one sister, Hazel Hollinhead Goins; one granddaughter, Amanda (Chris) Ganey and two great grandchildren, Chase Ganey and Emily Ganey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell S. Short; brothers, Phil Alexander, Jimmy Alexander, Charels Alexander and John Collins and sisters, Constance Green and Lizzie Huffman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 10, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers they family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Foundation.
