Barbara Jean (Meadows) Thompson

Barbara Jean Meadows Thompson, age 81, born in Flomaton, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Atmore Nursing Home. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Durwood Thompson; two sisters, Cynthia Carlean Williams and Voncile Williams and her parents, Curtis and Virginia Lee Weaver Meadows.

Graveside services and burial will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 190, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
