Atlan "Al" Joseph Moran

Atlan “Al” Joseph Moran, age 57, born in Gulf Port, MS and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his residence. He retired after 32 ½ years as a machine operator at Baldwin EMC.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Rena Williams Moran of Pine Grove; his daughters, Kirsten Rena Moran and Aleece Gavrielle Moran both of Pine Grove; his mother, Patricia Peterson Moran of Flomaton, AL; one brother, Chalmers Brian (Darlene) Moran of Wiggins, MS; two sisters, Cheryl (Richard) Berry of Flomaton, AL and Sonia (Steve) Ward of Pass Christian, MS; his mother-in-law, Marlice Williams of Pine Grove; brother-in-law, Arthur Hank (Tara) Williams of Pine Grove and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chalmers Joseph Moran; a niece, Heather McDonald and her child; a nephew, Nathan Berry and his father-in-law, Arthur Gavin Williams.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Vision Ministries Church of God with Reverend Sammy Thomley, Reverend Brian Moran, Reverend Jon Anderson, Reverend Larry Peacock and Karen Moore EMC officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until the 1:30 p.m. service at Vision Ministries Church of God.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Hank Williams, Matthew Williams, Ethan Ward, Brian Moran, Jr., Brandon Berry, Wylie Williams, Greg Baker and Ben Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Donald, James Day, Ric Boutin, Kody Willis and Douglas Cooper.
