Arthur Lee Obituary

On November 10, 2020, Arthur Cole Lee passed away at USA Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama from injuries received in an accident in Stockton, Alabama. Arthur was 50 years old.

Arthur was born December 15,1969 and is preceded in death by his father Richard E. Lee, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Mildred C. Lee of Stockton, AL, sister Melisa R. Price (Darren) of Pensacola, FL, and his brother Richard E. Lee, Jr (Frances) of Cary, NC.  He is also survived by his nephews Richard E. Lee, III and Darren B. Price, Jr., aunts June Bailey (Ben), Martha Ferrel and Ruth Cole as well as many loving extended family members and friends.

Arthur was a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason and member of the Abba Temple Shrine where he enjoyed being in the Nomad Clown unit and participated in many parades as a Shriner throughout the years. He enthusiastically made the crowds laugh and the children especially enjoyed his clown antics. He enjoyed riding in the yearly Dauphin Island parade and delighted in participating in the many Mardi Gras parades in Mobile, AL

An avid hunter, Arthur was preparing food plots just a few weeks ago for the upcoming deer hunting season. He will be looking down from heaven watching the deer and deciding whether this turns out to be a good season!

He loved his Airedale, CiCi, which he would take to Alabama Port to spend summer weekends fishing & swimming. CiCi happily accompanied him everywhere he went.

Arthur and his good friend Walter Cushion were inseparable, where you saw one you would see the other! They enjoyed working together for many years delivering propane to Stockton Gas Company customers and always had some type of project underway

Arthur was an active member of the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department, where he was the Captain and served as the Vice President of the Board of Directors.  He was instrumental in making sure the department’s coolers were always stocked with ice on the fire trucks to ensure their readiness to respond to emergency calls.  Arthur was dedicated to service and would often be seen assisting at interstate traffic accidents and helping others in need.

Arthur took great care of his elderly relatives and became quite a cook over the last several years. He took pride in his culinary skills, often sharing pictures of his latest kitchen creations with family members and friends.
