Annie Mae Reeves Johnson was born March 23, 1942 and passed Monday, September 15, 2025. She was the youngest child of Lois and Ruby Cook Reeves of Lyeffion, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ada Ruth Reeves Bryant; her grandson, Nicholas Devan Flowers and her husband of 43 years, George R. Johnson.
Annie Mae graduated from Lyeffion High School in 1960 as the class salutatorian. This honor awarded her a job with the telephone company and had her move to South Alabama. Here she met her husband George and raised their family.
She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina and son-in-law, Scott Flowers and her beloved grandchildren, Katherine Flowers (Teddy Peters), John Morgan Flowers and great grandson, Sawyer Grey.
She is also survived by her brother, Elton (Brenda) Reeves of West Virginia; nieces, Amy McDonald and Jennifer (Jason) Earp; great nieces and nephews, Eric (Tasha) and Jonathan and Jana and great great niece Zoie McDonald.
The family wishes to thank Amedysis Hospice for their help during this time. Also special thanks to Taylor Smith and Amy McDonald. (Amy - I could not have done this without you!)
A private viewing and service for family was held Friday, September 19, 2025.
