Anne Pridgen, age 91, born in Peterman, AL and a resident of Spanish Fort, AL died Monday, January 19, 2026 at her residence at Westminster Village. She was a retired administrative assistant for the State of Alabama Health Department.
She is survived by one son, Joseph Phillip “Joe” (Jane) Pridgen Jr. of Vestavia, AL; one daughter, Lynn Pridgen (Don) Keefer of Raleigh, NC; two sisters, Patricia Ann Garrett of Marietta, GA and Peggy Elaine Halifax of Raleigh, NC; four grandchildren, Amanda Pridgen (Britt) Thames, Tara Pridgen (Kyle) Davis, Laurel Keefer (Roy) Millberg, Zachary Keefer (Becky) and great grandchildren, Britton Thames, Parker Thames, Hudson Davis, Reagan Davis, Ella Britt Keefer, Bodie Keefer and Reagan Keefer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil Pridgen and siblings, Dwight Salter, Bernice Salter, Eloise Lane and Jimmy Salter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at First Methodist Church in Bay Minette, AL with Reverend Don Hutchinson officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the First Methodist Church.
