Angelo B. Stewart

Angelo B. Stewart, age 91, born in the Phillipsville Community and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at William F. Green State Veterans Home. He was a retired Insurance Salesman for Prudential. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey L. Cooper Stewart of Bay Minette, AL; two sons, Mike Stewart of Bay Minette, AL and Chuck Stewart of Phillipsville; one daughter, Susan Sanders of Wetumpka, AL; one sister, Mary Kay (Webb) Weekley of Pensacola, FL; stepchildren, Patricia (Lee) Gilliam, Carl (Margaret Ann) Stewart, Joanne (Hank) Paul, Anthony (Pat) Stewart, Lisa (Mark) Crowe and Ronnie (Sarah) Stewart; grandchildren, Krista (Aaron) Wike, Kandace Mosley, Kahalley Stewart and Ana-Marie Sanders; great grandchildren, Alayna Mosley, Stokley Bennette-Stewart, Mahayla Thompson, Memphis Thompson, Tyson Puckett and Skylar Marie Phillips and many step grandchildren and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marie Graham Stewart; a sister, Genevieve Cates; a brother, J.L. “Jim” Stewart; a son, Tommy Stewart and his parents, Ira Jackson and Hattie Elizabeth Phillips Stewart.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Alan Blackmon and Reverend Richie Nobles officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Keith Weekley, Adam Weekley, Aaron Wike, Jimmy Blue, Bubbie Smith and Jerry Gibson.
