Alice (France) Rieben

Alice France Rieben, age 94, born in Bromley and a resident of the Crossroads Community died Saturday, December 23, 2023 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son-in-law, Greg (Janie) Watson of Crossroads; a granddaughter, Lynn (Richard, V) Orpin of Crossroads; one sister, Clara E. Mohler of Bay Minette, AL and two grandchildren, Gabe Hamm and Richard Orpin, VI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Orville Rieben; a daughter, Joy N. Watson and two sisters, Patsy Mayo and Doris Gipson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Mike Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 29, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Richard Orpin, VI, Gabe Hamm, Ken Rider, Jr., Richard Orpin, V, Will Mohler and Everett Mohler.

Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest memorial contributions be made to Durant Chapel Building Fund, 9551 Highway 138, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
