Alice Jeanette (Malone) Grimes

Alice Jeanette Malone Grimes, age 85, born in Citronelle, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at her residence. She was the owner and operator of Grimes Nursery.

She is survived by her children, George L. (Bobbie) Byrd of Stapleton, AL and Louise (Earl) Parker of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Leo (Tammy) Byrd, Shelby (Jennie) Byrd, Victoria (Shannon) Britt, Tammy (Duane) Eady, Randy (Crystal) Hastings and Jody (Marsha) Hastings; great grandchildren, Chase, Colton, Harley, Blaze, Allison, Katelyn, Dillon, Charity, Chanyce, Madison, Mallory, Emily and Luke and great great grandchildren, Wyatt, Dallas, Kayslyn, Brayden, Taelon and Anna Reece.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Albert Byrd, Lige Grimes and George Cabaniss; a daughter, Theresa Hastings; seven brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Rob Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Gulf Crest Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. in Citronelle.

The family will receive friends Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.
