Alexzene "Zena" (Booth) Minor

Alexzene "Zena" Minor, age 82, passed away on March 25, 2025, in Pensacola, FL. She was born on October 30, 1942, in Fosters, Alabama, to Alexandar "Pop" Booth and Mary Booth. Zena was a dedicated educator, serving as an Assistant Principal, and was known for her passion for teaching and her commitment to her students. She graduated from the University of Alabama and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of West Florida. She loved watching and cheering on the Crimson Tide. Zena was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and enjoyed being outside doing yardwork. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a caring friend. Zena was also a big blood donor throughout her lifetime and a committed volunteer in community events.

Zena is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Minor; her sons, Paul Minor and Matt Minor; her daughter-in-law, Ivey Minor; and her grandchildren, Magnolia Minor and Jack Minor. She and Ronnie would have celebrated 58 years of marriage in May.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alexandar "Pop" Booth; her mother, Mary Booth; and her brother, Milton Booth.

Private family services were held.
