Albert Blount Obituary

Albert McNile Blount, age 89, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his residence. He was a retired Air Craft Examiner for the United States Government. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Diane (Dale) Carpenter of Axis, AL and Linda Doreen (Sammy) Flores of Miami, FL; ten grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mae Blount; two sons, Donald Albert Blount and David McNile Blount and a brother, Hugh Paul Blount.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Grant Dykes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Adian Varazel, Ben Barton, Christopher Hollifield, Shawyn Barton, Joel Otero and Colby Hollifield.
