Addie Louise (Byrd) Johnson

Addie Louise Byrd Johnson, age 65, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Tuesday, March 16, 2021. She was a retired dispatcher for the Bay Minette Police Department.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Coy Johnson of Bay Minette, AL and Donald Ray (Melanie) Johnson, Jr. of Bay Minette, AL; her mother, Mattie Jo Turner Byrd of Bay Minette, AL; two sisters, Helen (Jimmy) Cowart of Bay Minette, AL and Lisa (Thomas) Cook of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Bryant Johnson, Kendrick Johnson, Trevor Johnson, Dillon White, Lovie Overstreet and Cade Johnson and one great grandson, Barrett White.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph “Joe” Byrd and a son, William Anthony Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 19, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Findley, David Brown, Jason Hodgen, Gary Wise, Michael Thompson and Clint Harrison.
