Wanda Sue "Susie" (Porter) Ferguson

Wanda Sue “Susie” Porter Ferguson, age 61, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, July 20, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Darrell (Ashley) Rider of Stockton, AL; a daughter, Katie Roberts of Woodville, TX; her father, Edward Porter; one brother, Jenks Porter of Crossroads; four sisters, Carol Sprinkle of Crossroads, Debbie Porter of Crossroads, Kathy Miller of Rabun and Tammy Vedros of Bay Minette, AL; grandchildren, Kailyn Trest, Jayden Trest, Brooklyn Rider and Blakley Rider and one great grandchild, Kaidyn Trest. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ferguson and her mother, Ruth Adams.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Guy’s Chapel Methodist Church with Reverend Bill Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Guy’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. service at Guy’s Chapel Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Pallbearers will be Chris Brunson, Kenneth Rider, Matt Sprinkle, Michael Walker and Blaine Brunson.
