Silas Ganey, Jr., age 83, born in Stockton, AL and resident of Stockton, died Friday, September 6, 2019 at his residence. He retired from Monsanto, Pensacola, FL
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Voncile Ganey of Stockton; his children, Pamela Hyatt (Michael) of Stockton, Keith (Tricia) Ganey of Biloxi, MS, Karen Dyess (Clay) of Stockton; one sister, Frances Cooper Strength, seven grandchildren; Michael (Alicia) Hyatt, Nicholas (Miranda) Hyatt, Aaron (Molly) Hyatt, Cole Ganey, Cade Ganey, Ashton Blankenship (Clay), Clayton Dyess and 10 Great Grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, Silas Ganey Sr. and Dellie Jenks Ganey, and one sister Jessie Mae Turner.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 Monday, September 9, 2019 and funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Davis and Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie Methodist Church Cemetery.
