Sara Boyd Obituary

Sara Mott Boyd, age 95, born in Ebenezer, AL and a resident of Daphne, AL died Thursday, March 7, 2019 at the Baldwin House. She was a retired federal court reporter.

She is survived by her children, Salle Boyd (Frank) Rentz of Birmingham, AL, Rebecca Boyd Hayes of Loxley, AL, Wendy Boyd (Richard) Cox of Stockton, AL and Milton K. “Kirk” (Denise) Boyd, Jr. of Waynesboro, VA; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Kirkpatrick Boyd, Sr.

Graveside services and burial were held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery in Montgomery, AL with Dr. Chip Starnes officiating.

Pallbearers were Riley Powell, Richard Cox, John Cox, Andrew Pritchett, David Cox ad Frank Rentz.

In lieu of flowers they family requests memorial contributions be made to Goodwill Easter Seals, 440 Gordon Smith Drive, Mobile, AL 36617
