Ronald Bruce Melton

Ronald Bruce Melton, age 69, born in Rocky Mountain, NC and a resident of Stapleton, AL died Friday, June 7, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired Diesel Mechanic for the Baldwin County Board of Education.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Melton; two sons, Cole (Cristina) Melton and Wade (Kelly) Cooper; two daughters, Dessa (Matthew) Curtis and Shannon (Cody) Robinson; one brother, Gerald Melton; two sisters, Jean Hall and Rose Nealy and eleven grandchildren, Kade and Chael Melton, Taylor and Kyle Cooper, Jaylan and Austin Boyington, Max and Zack Curtis and Conner, Carlie Jo and Brenner Robinson.

Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Stockton Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Cindy Still officicating.

Pallbearers will be Cole Melton, Wade Cooper, Kyle Cooper, Jaylan Boyington, Matt Curtis, Max Curtis, Conner Robinson and Steve Hitson.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
