Robert Lee Morrison

Robert Lee Morrison, age 82, born in Monroeville, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary. He was a retired Chemical Operator at Monsanto and a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during Korea. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Robert loved gardening, fishing, hunting and going to the wellness center.

He is survived by his children, Linda Darlene Morrison of Bay Minette, AL and Brenda Morrison Richerson of Virginia; one brother, Charles “Woody” (Doris) Morrison of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Frances Harper of Byron, GA, Lois (Paul) White of Bay Minette, AL, Dot Smith of Bay Minette, AL and Mattie Peavy of Monroeville, AL; four grandchildren, Nick Richerson, Dillon Richerson, Jonathan Crook and Jeremy Crook; eleven great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Deloris Morrison and Shelby Morrison and a very special friend Helen McDowell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rowell Morrison; brothers, Dale Morrison, Billy Morrison and Rabun Morrison and a sister, Christine Morton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Southside Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, 526 Brady Road, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
