Martha (Blackmon) Howell

Martha Blackmon Howell, age 86, born in Tallapoosa, GA and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, August 16, 2019 at Oakwood. She was a retired guidance counselor at Baldwin County High School.

She is survived by her children, Dennis Banks (Michelle Vines) Howell, III of Bay Minette, AL, Martha Sue Howell of Bay Minette, AL and Donna Eloise Howell of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Doug Blackmon of Atlanta, GA; one sister, Jo Ann Carter of Middlefield, CT and two grandchildren, Andrew Banks Howell and William Vines Howell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Chip Starnes and Dr. Larry Bryars officiating. Burial will follow at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 19, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service at the first Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Powell, Jason Selph, Chris Harris, Jimmy Taylor, Ed Tunnell and O’Neal Messick.
