Lillie Bess (Spivey) Yarbrough

Lillie Bess Spivey Yarbrough, age 80, born in Cayuga, TX and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Friday, September 6, 2019 at her residence. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Aubrey Yarbrough of Bay Minette, AL; son, Tom (Sherry) Hodges of Bay Minette, AL; daughter, Kim (Robbie) Watson of Mobile, AL; sister, Virginia (Lawrence) Dunn of Murchinson, TX; brother, Jerry (Linda) Spivey of Cayuga, TX; grandchildren, Ashley (Drew) Wilkerson, Logan Grimes, Bailey Watson, Anna Marie Watson, Pierce Watson, Kristy (Ron) Lawson and Jo Hannah Williamson along with great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Leo and Maudie Spivey and a sister, Juanell S. Brown.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Steve Pettis and Reverend Chester Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. from 9:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Peacock, Bobby Monaghan, Logan Grimes, Pierce Watson, Drew Wilkerson and Jason Padgett.

The family would like to express a special thank you for Dr. Martin Lester and staff, Community Hospice staff that helped, Malinda Guy and Christabell Lynd and Jo Hannah Williamson.
