Donald Wayne “Don” Chastang, Sr. age 62, born in Bay Minette, AL and a resident of the White House Fork Community, died Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his residence. He was a self employed painter.
He was survived by his wife, Cynthia Quinn of White House Fork; his children, Donald Wayne (Ashley) Chastang of Spanish Fort, AL and Eric Carlos Chastang of Longmont, CO; stepchildren, Anthony (Ashleigh) Quinn of White House Fork, Cary (Heather) Quinn of Crossroads and Samantha (Adam) Miller of Bay Minette, AL; his mother, Nettye M. Chastang of White House Fork; one brother, David Dale Chastang of Loxley, AL; two sisters, Alice Long of White House Fork and Thelma Reid of Bay Minette, AL; two grandchildren, Rachel Chastang and Lukas Chastang and seven step grandchildren, Ayden, Anzleigh, Presley, Ace, Jaxon, Taylor and Caroline.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pierre W. Chastang, Sr. and two brothers, P.W. Chastang, Jr. and Teddy Chastang.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Stapleton Church of God with Reverend J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Chastang Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Stapleton Church of God.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Chastang, Eric Chastang, Anthony Quinn, Lukas Chastang, Dewayne Reid and Steven Stone.
