Charles Edward Jacobson

Charles Edward Jacobson, age 70, born in Uriah, AL and a resident of the Pine Grove Community died Sunday, August 18, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired Electronic Technician at Standard Furniture. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during Vietnam.

He is survived by his children, Lana (Jeff) Blackmon of Hoover, AL, Calvin (Katlyn) Jacobson of Bratt, FL, Clayton (Sarah) Jacobson of Pine Grove and Jennifer (Matthew) Reynolds of Walnut Hill, FL;  two sisters, Shirley Roberts of Pine Grove and Betty Taylor of Augusta, GA; seven grandchildren, Rachel Blackmon, Wesley Blackmon, Camden Jacobson, Lilly Harper Jacobson, Tray Mosley, Maddox Reynolds and Maggie Reynolds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Edward and Maggie Lou Blackburn Jacobson and a sister, Vera Corley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Reverend Ted Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Walnut Hill Baptist Church, 5741 Arthur Brown Road, Walnut Hill, FL 32568.
