Carlton Boutwell

Carlton Boutwell, age 87, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, May 18, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired contract specialist for NSA and a home builder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret Broughton Boutwell of Bay Minette, AL; one son, Kevin (Tracy) Boutwell of Crossroads; one daughter, Kim (Jim) Burnett of Hattiesburg, MS; one sister, Doris Dearmond of Daphne, AL; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Burnett, Dr. Henry Cox and Dr. Chip Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Durant Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Mason Boutwell, Adam Boutwell, Brandon Burnett, Nathan Burnett, Michael Taylor and Quintin Taylor.
