Betty Joan (Estelle) Hardin

Betty Joan Estelle Hardin, age 76, born in Lebanon, IN and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her residence. She retired from Faulkner State Community College as the Director of Dental Assisting.

Betty enjoyed fishing, building things, crafts and working in the yard. Her favorite place was on her knees talking to God. Her favorite season was Christmas because she said everyone was much nicer then. She wants her friends to know that she loved all of them and they we absolutely wonderful. She was a loving mother and treated everyone with respect and loved them unconditionally.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Hardin and his fiancée, Jami Hosmer of Bay Minette, AL; two brothers, Ernie “Butch” Estelle and Gerry Haffner both of Indiana and one sister, Sandra “Susie” Land of Indiana.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Dr. Henry Cox officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 17, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
