Betty Stewart Blankenship

Betty Stewart Blankenship, age 72, a native and resident of Bay Minette, AL died Monday, May 27, 2019 at Mobile Infirmary. She retired from Standard Furniture.

She is survived by her children, Cindy (Darrell Travis) Odom of Bay Minette, AL, Vicky (Stewart) Norris of Stockton, AL and Samuel Dean of Mobile, AL; two sisters, Mildred (William) Hadley of Bay Minette, AL and Eva Lucas of Rabun; five grandchildren, Stephanie Dean, Clayton Crane, Amy Simmons, Tammy Simmons Toler and Stephanie Cook and twelve great grandchildren, Landon, Peyton, Aubrey, Caston, Cale, Alex, Brayden, David, Madelyn, Rave, Topanga and Payton.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Dean and her best friend, Merl Wilson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Sister Helen Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Yancey Toler, Arian Martin, Aaron Caraway, Chris Travis, Jacob Travis and Nathan Hadley. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Crane and Landon Toler.
