Barbara "Babs" Ellen (Winberg) Ambrose

Barbara “Babs” Ellen Winberg Ambrose, age 91, born in South Gate, CA and a resident of Bay Minette, AL died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence. She was a retired Registered Nurse at North Baldwin Infirmary.

She is survived by a daughter, Alyson (Randy) McDonald of Bay Minette, AL; four grandchildren, Matthew (Selena) McDonald of Spanish Fort, AL., Sara Beth (Cliff) Knizley of Nashville, TN, Katie McDonald of Mobile, AL and Stephen (Faith) McDonald of Spanish Fort, AL and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Marty Hamilton officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Untied Methodist Church, P.O. Box 338, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
