Abrianna Hope Downey

Abrianna Hope Downey, age 20, a native and resident of Pensacola, FL died Sunday, March 10, 2024 at West Florida Hospital.

Although Abrianna’s years were few, she made the dash between the dates count. When she loved, she loved with every ounce of her being whether it was family, friends or strangers. She loved to cook and bake. She would bake cakes then figure out who she could give them to.

She also had a dream to help the homeless. Though she didn’t have a chance to accomplish that, her family will do it in her honor by donating, assisting and volunteering at homeless shelters and the Ronald McDonald House.

None of this was as big as her dream of being a mom. Although she can’t do it on Earth, she’ll have all of Eternity to spend with them. Time here is short but we’ll all be together again soon!

She is survived by her children, Kaylani Anderson and Klayten Anderson; her parents, Jeremy and Stephanie Downey of Bay Minette, AL; her siblings, Crystal Bishop of Bay Minette, AL, Steven Sanders of Excel, AL, Summer Hall of Perdido, AL, Reece Marx of Greenville, NC, Nicholas Downey of Texas, Aaron Downey of Pensacola, FL, Christian Downey of New Mexico, Angela Downey of Stapleton, AL, Noah Bryars of Rabun, Austin Downey of Bay Minette, AL, Rhianna Downey of Atmore, AL and Hannah Bryars of Rabun; her grandparents, Mary Downey of Perdido, AL and Dwight Moore of Lafayette, LA and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tony Downey, Carolyn Allen and Nadine Moore.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of His Presence in Daphne at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Burke Zach officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Cemetery in Perdido.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 15, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service at the Church of His Presence in Daphne.

Pallbearers will be Austin Downey, Aaron Downey, Noah Bryars, Steven Sanders, Don Joiner and Joseph Harms.
